Folks, the Macintosh Madame has lashed me into a frenzy with a nylon whip...

I am looking for the "Macintosh Services" from NT 4.0

Is this a directory [thus easily accessed] -OR- :( is it internal to an
install package?

You can add them by going into networking configuration and add the
service.

Where are the actual files?

My curiosity, will this work on NT 4.0 Workstation?

They should be in the winnt\i386 directory tree. (directory from memory)

They are installed the same way as say WINS or MS-DNS or TCP/IP or
NetBIOS / NetBEUI. Windows pulls the files from the same directory tree.

I believe that the file sharing is only available for server.

I don't know if there is a client counterpart for workstation or not.

My understanding is that the server portion existed because NT was
competing with NetWare which could be a file server for Macs using
AppleTalk.
